Speed, Pure and Simple
Powered by Intel® Pentium® G850 Dual Core processors (2.9GHz) and 4GB DDR3 ECC RAM, the 10Gb Ethernet-equipped N7710-G and N8810U-G represent major upgrades over their predecessors. Capable of delivering blistering network speeds thanks to their 10GbE interfaces, these new NAS will be the favored choice for SMB and enterprises.
Find the Ideal Setup
Users can select a RAID configuration that provides the right balance of performance and protection for their needs, with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and JBOD being supported by both units (along with RAID 60 in the 8-bay). The N7710 and N8810U can serve up to 256 users, and with the iSCSI Thin Provisioning feature, administrators can ensure that physical storage space isn't over-provisioning before it is actually needed- thus reducing unnecessary spending on hardware.
To make sure your data remains safe and sound, the N7710 and N8810U are both shielded by free copies of McAfee Antivirus and Acronis True Image , an award-winning backup solution. With Acronis True Image, users can either back up all their data with one click, or pick and choose only their most important files to backup. And thanks to the active Thecus® developer community, over 90 official and third-party apps are available to bring added security and versatility to your new NAS.
“We look forward to spending time with old partners and networking with new friends throughout the week at CES 2014. So please stop by the Gold Pavilion, booth 80236, to see what the latest Thecus® NAS can do for you!”
