09/15/2012- A few days after its event in the UK, Thecus® took the road and arrived in Milan, Italy. On September 13th, Italian media had the opportunity to see first-hand, the latest products available on the market and the innovations signed by the NAS leader. The many Italian media present at the event were introduced to the new Intel® Atom™ based 1U rackmount unit N4510U and the 7-bay tower N7510, the new features offered by the ThecusOS™ 5.0 like HA, data guard, volume expansion and daisy chaining, and all of that accompany by a nice meal at the St. Andrews restaurant.

A few devices were shown on display at the event. Not only could the attendees have a closer look at the models N4510U and N7510, but the N6850 from the TopTower series and the N5550 from the Vision series were also on display. The N7510 was set as a live demo showing how the local display and the HDMI output can make this NAS a convenient multimedia powerhouse and give easy management to the NAS without the need of a computer.
After everyone arrived, Peter Sun and Wouter Simons from the Thecus® NL branch office took the time to introduce Thecus' history, milestones and also the partnerships, like Intel®, that makes Thecus® a strong actor in the NAS market. Afterward, they moved on to present the new features of the Intel® Atom™ based N4510U and the N7510 but also went over the Vision series with its multimedia playback capability, the TopTower series offering professional performances and the amazing expansion power of the Daisy Chaining with the D16000.
