11/25/2011- All over the world, storage needs are growing at an unprecedented pace, and it's no exception in developing. That's why Thecus Technology – the pioneer in the NAS sector - is on the forefront of promotion in countries such as Vietnam. As a member of Intel Embedded Alliance and long-term partner of Intel, Thecus showcased its products as an exhibitor at the Intel Channel Conference (ICC) in three Vietnamese cities - Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, and Ha Noi.
Organized to inform system builders and resellers of the latest hardware solutions for emerging markets, the Channel Conference also unveiled hot novelties and trending market opportunities in desktop PCs, notebooks and servers. This year's ICC in Vietnam traveled to three different cities and brought together vendors and potential resellers to network, learn about Intel's latest technologies, and showcase new products.
Thecus Technology hosted a hands-on showcase of a number of their best-selling NAS series. Attendees had the chance to see 3 Thecus products for home use and SMBs - N3200XXX, N4200PRO, and N5200XXX featuring Intel Atom D525. All three models attracted much attention, especially given that Vietnamese market is not quite familiar with the concept of network-attached storage. Three lucky contestants from each city were able to win the Thecus N2200XXX.
All in all, the impact of Vietnam ICC is yet to be seen, but it has already benefited Thecus in terms of creating a positive image, bringing awareness in Vietnamese market, building prospective connections, and conducting essential market research.
