06/29/2007 – SEK2007 is Korea's largest IT exhibition. Now in its 21st year, over 100,000 visitors were treated to 18,000 square meters of the very latest technologies, including digital home appliances, next-generation computers, and mobile computing. This year, leading digital storage provider Thecus Technology was there to display its latest storage solutions, including the high-performance 5-bay N5200 and the friendly N2100BM.
Despite its small 230mm x 190mm x 230mm dimensions, the N5200 packs a lot of punch. Under the hood lies an Intel® Celeron M processor running at 600MHz and 256MB of DDR memory for powerful data-processing capabilities. The N5200 has the capacity for five 3.5” SATA hard disks for up to 5TB of storage! To keep data secure, the N5200 features multiple RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD.
The N2100BM takes the original award-winning design, and couples it with the Embedded Media Server from Mediabolic. This software makes music, photo, and video files available over a network for streamed playback on connected entertainment products. With Mediabolic's Embedded Media Server, the N2100BM's end-user experience is smoother than ever before.
