10/01/2010 – From October 5th to 7th, 2010, the North Convention Centre in Feria de Madrid, Spain will be the venue for SIMO Network 2010. The exhibition offers lectures, debates, conferences, and an entire program of activities for professionals from different sectors to obtain a broad perspective on products, services and solutions that can help improve their business competitiveness. This year, networked storage leader Thecus® Technology and valued partner Dakel Informática, S.A. will be at Booth #10F20 in Hall 10 to display some of its greatest products, including the versatile N3200PRO, the powerful N5500, and the 2U rackmount N8800 storage server.
Designed for home use, the N3200PRO offers a wide array of entertainment oriented features, including a media server that can stream content to DLNA-compatible devices, an iTunes server for streaming music throughout the home, and a Photo Web Server that makes it easy to share and enjoy your photos. An LCD display makes it easy to keep tabs on your NAS, and all of this is backed by the security of RAID 5.
For media enthusiasts and SMBs, the five-bay N5500 brings huge storage and blazing-fast performance with support for iSCSI initiators and a low voltage Intel® processor. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with load balancing and failover mean bulletproof network reliability, and superior power management features lower the overall cost of ownership.
Finally, SIMO Network 2010 showgoers will also get a glimpse of the N8800: an enterprise-class eight-bay rackmount NAS with a slew of cutting-edge features for medium to large organizations. In addition to support for iSCSI initiators, the N8800 is also stackable, enabling administrators to connect to up to five additional N8800s and view them via a master unit for easy storage expansion. The N8800 also supports both RAID expansion and migration in addition to version control and remote replication, which makes it easy for administrators to manage their storage configuration and backup requirements.
