09/01/2016 – Thecus Technology Corp, today announced the release of the C10GI540T2 and C10GI599F2 network interface cards (NICs). With the continuous widespread adoption of 10GbE solutions in the workplace for NAS users, Thecus Technology Corp. has continued in its quest to provide it’s users with top-tier network technology. These offer robust technology for increasing system performance and maximizing end-user productivity.
These newly released NICs were developed and manufactured by the Ennoconn group. The C10GI540T2 is powered by the Intel X540 controller chip, delivering high compatibility with maximum speeds through dual copper 10GBase-T Ethernet RJ-45 connectors. The C10GI599F2 is powered by the Intel 82599ES controller chip, allowing greater compatibility with optical and copper links through dual 10GBase-SFP+ connectors. Both chips of the NICs are low profile and half-length which is a stark difference to the majority of other NICs on the market which are full-length.
The C10GI540T2 and C10GI599F2 are expertly designed to increase connectivity with a small footprint, while offering an excellent price performance ratio. With lower cost and robust power, it provides the perfect solution to equip your business with 10GbE capability.
