The N2810, is a 2-Bay NAS, that is powered by an Intel Celeron N3050 Dual-Core processor, with 2GB (expandable to 4) of DDR3 RAM. “It’s power cannot be argued with; it was what we expected, powered by the Intel Braswell hardware, it reaches maximum read and write speeds in excess of 100 MB / s, USB 3.0 nimble handling and full HD media playback capabilities, providing an immersive home media environment.”
Equipped with Thecus’ latest operating system the ThecusOS 7.0, it delivers an optimized, feature-rich platform with a redesigned intuitive user interface and easy navigation. “Thecus’ upgraded operating system, ThecusOS 7.0 is much more aesthetically pleasing, being very close in functionality to the leading NAS companies. In appearance – it’s very similar to PC operating systems, providing a user interface with icons, windows that open in different tasks and applications - to meet today's trends.”
Prohardver’s overall assessment of the N2810 was positive.“Thanks to several years of experience Thecus has once again delivered a great little NAS, the N2810. The HDMI output and Braswell platform enables serious media player capabilities. Those who are searching for advanced multimedia capacities with their NAS, be sure to take the N2810 into account.”
