“Thecus has recently added the N2810 to its portfolio, a 2-Bay NAS, which can satisfy even high performance demands thanks to its Intel Celeron N3050. The N2810 provides features like lockable hot-swap bays and link aggregation but additionally comes with a HDMI output and 4K video playback.”
They even answer the question of how to use it best. “The N2810 is a high-performance 2-Bay NAS, so it can be used when you need a powerful fileserver with moderate energy and space consumption instead of the highest possible capacity.”
Overall, this NAS with its new ThecusOS 7.0 operating system is graded highly. “With the N2810 Thecus has released a powerful 2-Bay NAS which comes with a lot of interesting features. The N2810 provides high performance thanks to its Intel processor, even with encrypted data. And with the new ThecusOS 7 the N2810 can score points with an up to date and easy to use desktop interface.”
They devoted a whole section to the performance. “The N2810 can deliver consistently high data transfer rates which don't noticeably drop even when using encryption, thanks to the AES-NI support of the CPU. Besides only a few exceptions, it continuously achieves full Gigabit speed.”
“The Thecus N2810 is a powerful 2-Bay NAS which is highly impressive in regards to its hardware and performance, even with encrypted data.”
