04/18/2016 – Macity is one of the most popular tech websites in Italy. Founded in 1996, from the beginning it has had the goal of creating daily information about products, (software, hardware and services), lifestyle, and curiosity about these companies. This time their professional team decided to test the latest Thecus N2810 and the innovative Thecus OS 7.0.
“The N2810 has proved in many ways to be a good NAS, it’s cost is competitive compared to many other: if used in a small office for such activities as filing documents and file sharing, we believe that expenditure is absolutely justified. The hardware is solid and well designed, the RAID volumes and disk appears versatile and adapts to any environment, the three USB 3.0 ports and dual Ethernet ports provide a range of possibilities that certainly increase the life of the product.”
“In the back part of the NAS we find a HDMI port, that is able to play up to 4K. The presence of this inevitably puts the device in a different light: not just a NAS for data storage, a download manager and other services, but also a multimedia server, which can be used if necessary in the office but which is just as well suited in the living room next to a 4K TV.”
- Excellent value for money
