01/05/2010 – From January 7th to 10th, the annual Consumer Electronics Show, the largest exhibition of consumer technology in the world, kicks off at none other than fabulous Las Vegas. More than 330 of the world's top electronics companies will be showing off over 20,000 new products, and at this year's event, Thecus' all-new N4200 NAS Server will be featured at the Intel® Booth (#7153) in the Central Hall. This powerful four-bay NAS offers a plethora of useful features for the home user, and is all powered by the dual-core Intel® Atom™ D510 Processor. With Intel® Inside, the N4200 delivers blazing system performance and increased data reliability for users to store and share their digital memories.
The N4200 is the newest four-bay NAS Server from Thecus®. It houses a next-generation Intel® Atom™ D510 Processer for increased performance and lower power consumption. This dual-core processor helps the N4200 handle more tasks at once, resulting in accelerated system response and boosted data throughput. The N4200 also includes some cutting-edge features, including a dual power system that protects data in case of a sudden power failure, a dual DOM design for added reliability, and dual displays for easy administration. The LCD offers a wealth of system information, including hard disk and network status, while the big and bright 2.8” OLED display allows users to modify a number of settings directly on the device including WAN, LAN, Link Aggregation, languages and more. The N4200 can also accommodate either 2.5” or 3.5” SATA hard disks, making it the most flexible home NAS ever.
“Our long-standing partnership with Intel® has resulted in some groundbreaking NAS products over the years, and the N4200 is our latest achievement,” said Florence Shih, Thecus® General Manager. “We invite all showgoers at CES 2010 to catch a first glimpse of this outstanding new storage device powered by next-generation Intel® Atom™ technology at the Intel® Booth.”
