02/01/2016 - Modlabs is a Russian media source where one can find information about different technologies, products and solutions in almost all segments of IT. Recently, the Modlab's team tested the Thecus N2310 NAS and the results were extremely positive. Today they would liketo share their opinion on one more Thecus NAS – Thecus N2560.
“HDMI output allows users to build a comprehensive multimedia center based on this NAS. XBMC allows users to watch TV and play music with direct connection to a TV monitor. XBMC is a separate service and doesn't depend on the other tasks being performed by the same NAS. While testing the Thecus N2560, the accessible software version was still ThecusOS 6.1, and that software was already reviewed by us in the previous article about the Thecus N2310."
“What are the benefits of the Thecus N2560? If I can say shortly – it includes robust hardware! This makes the N2560 a very powerful NAS. The Intel Atom CPU supports a high level of performance even with a large number of active tasks and users The HDMI output will connect the NAS to local display for direct media file playback. It is very interesting, that according to Yandex.Market, the N2560 NAS is the most competitive model with HDMI output at the moment! ”
We would like to thank the Modlabs team for their cooperation.
