09/21/2015 – As one of the premier price-performance NAS on the market today, the N2310 seemed to be an ideal product for a video review on ArtyomU's Youtube channel. Artyom has been steadily gaining popularity for his detailed yet professional and honest reviews.
The N2310 is recognized as a very energy efficient model and as a 24/7 device, this can be a major advantage. It is estimated to consume only 10-15W with hard drives running. Without hard drives, the storage is estimated to consume only 2.5-5W. “That is far better than the majority of NAS on the market.”
“The Thecus N2310 showed excellent results similar to much more expensive models.” With a 1TB Seagate drive installed, the read/write speeds clocked in at 81/70 Mb/s and backup speeds reached 50Mb/s. “If we used RAID 0 the results would have been even higher.”
“A very good benefit of using the Thecus N2310 is having access to all the stored data from mobile devices.” This is possible thanks to the T-on-the-Go mobile application which is easy to download and use. During testing, all photos were downloaded very fast, the video-streaming was flawless, and the mechanism of sharing photos worked perfectly.
“The N2310 has a powerful set of features including impressive backup options for a 2-bay NAS. At the same time, it is a super-saving energy device which will work 24/7 without giving its user an overwhelming financial burden. It is an ultimate combination of a good price and a deserving set of functions.”
We thank Artyom Yuschenko for the cooperation and a great review of the Thecus N2310.
