12/16/2014-TechRadar has long been a mainstay in the IT industry. As the largest UK-based consumer technology news and reviews site, TechRadar knows a thing or two when it comes to all things tech-related. In the TechRadar Labs today is the 8-bay Thecus N8810U-G.
More for the money
Value is important, and Thecus has gone to great lengths to provide just that to consumers. “A nice addition is the complimentary rail mounting kit, which is usually an extra cost when installing enterprise NAS units like this. Another neat feature is the dual redundant 400W PSUs. If one packs up, as they are prone to do, the other will kick in, another way to minimise data downtime.”
The sum of its parts
After taking into account the specs, getting a closer look, and putting it through their tests, here is what Techradar had to say about the N8810U-G. “Plenty of thought has gone into making the hardware extremely flexible and resistant to downtime. This is a powerful network storage array for SMBs.”
Thank you to Orestis Bastounis and the team at TechRadar for the review.
