09/23/2014-Don't be fooled by Hardware BBQ's recent appearance on the IT media scene. Their team has all the know-how necessary to whip out great hardware reviews for readers both from their native India and abroad. Turning their attention to the complex NAS market, Hardware BBQ wanted to see whether the Thecus N2310 deserved its top position in such a competitive market.
Target User and Form Factor
“This is aimed toward a lot of users- both general and power users who want a lot of storage space. The form factor, design and the functionality of the Thecus N2310 NAS unit is able to reflect that. I sense that a lot of HTPC users who have limited storage mounting space will LOVE to use this. It will compliment such system while taking less space. Considering that this is a 2-bay NAS storage, it looks pretty compact.”
“Getting the Thecus N2310 NAS up and running is pretty quick and easy. Even networking novices will not have any issue setting up this network storage. For either home or SOHO use, Thecus N2310 is a pretty good solution. The performance stands out… The built quality of the drive is something that many people will appreciate. Just like many miniITX or mATX cases, this is something you'll love to keep it on your work/ home desk.”
Coming to the business-end of the review, Hardware BBQ awarded the Thecus N2310 8.5/10 for its array of features and impressive performance.
Thanks to The Sorcerer and everyone at Hardware BBQ for the review.
