07/18/2014- The Thecus N2310 has become the 1st home network storage device reviewed by the editors of MegaObzor in Russia. This device is based on the AMCC APM86491-SKB800T 800 MHz processor and memory in the form of two 256MB chips from Samsung.
MegaObzor started off by stating that “the Thecus N2310 is an example of the right approach to creating a home NAS.” It's got “a pleasant external design, ergonomic box, good construction assembly, passive heat removal, low noise level, and low energy consumption.”
On the software side of things, “you will find a simple and easy to understand method of organizing your RAID volume with only a few step and knowledge required from the user.” ThecusOS 6 was also noted as being “both functional and intuitive.”
In the end, MegaObzor stressed N2310's “performance level, which is enough sufficient for a local storage device.” As a result, “the Thecus N2310 is awarded with the well-deserved gold Editor's Choice award from MegaObzor.com.”
